I've seen the first 3 episodes - and thats all!
I just don't seem to watch TV much at all these days. In fact ....the one in my living room hasn't been turned on since last Saturday night! |

Taking a break from the TV can be a good thing. And these days, if you miss something and you really want to see it, it's bound to come out on DVD eventually.

I have now seen all season 2 btw....waiting till the price drops on the over-priced season 3 box set before picking up where I was left off....
The DVD of 'Razor' I watched has loads of trailers and sneak peeks at season 4 that I dare not watch for fear of spoilers! |

I watched the episode 'Unfinished Business' last night - the one that centers around the Boxing Fights and flashes back to the setting up of New
Caprica.
It was possibly the finest example of the art of editing I have ever seen on a TV show. Not just editing in a flash/bang kinda way - but using editing to tell a story, to propel the viewer visually along the 'through-line' of a plot, and leave you afraid of blinking in case you miss anything. I've watched many a movie and thought 'I wish I'd edited that - just like that', but last night was the first time I ever thought the same about a TV show. |

Sadly no ETA here at all yet - its a TBA thing.
I have ordered the HD-DVD of season 1. It apparently isn't technically great but the extras are tempting..... Season 3 was a bit uneven in that it peaked about halfway through...but I know you agree that at its worst its better than most.

If you wanted to wait, I read rumors from a reliable site that the Blu-ray versions of the seasons are coming late this year. Though I imagine
the HD-DVD versions may be less expensive, I don't know if you wanted to be uniform in the format versions, particularly if you move here. That's
another level of conversion you wouldn't have to worry about.
