So, let's see where to start.....my parents sold the office where I was gainfully employed, retired and moved to TN where they are doing very well. The dentists who bought the office kept us all on, but, alas, this time last year, after some 8 months under their employ, they closed down that section of the office that was 'mine' and I was off to greener pastures. Found them in a full-service dental lab, working in the model dept., but 3 months later, just before RenFaire, I was let go without warning.
Within 18 hours of that notification, I was working at a different dental lab, one I had interviewed with before and who decided to hold on to the guy I would have replaced, but now needed someone else! Been there ever since, and doing all the skills I didn't have or doo working with Dad, and more!
About 3 months ago I moved out to Wasilla Alaska, which means an hours' drive each side of work, but I'm actually still managing to save more $ than what I was putting out in town. Moved in with an old roomie and we get along great.
About a year and a half ago, my gf of a year and a half broke up with me by moving to Fairbanks, supposedly for a summer job, but I came to find to move in with her new guy, the guy who just 3 weeks before helped us move into our apartment!! Yep, you read that right. Betrayal going on for a while before we even agreed to move in together and se if this could lead to marriage. Way more to it than that, but I shant bore you. Suffice to say my heart is somewhat healed now, but I find it harder than ever to trust enough to let my heart go. Which would up breaking the heart of someone I was seeing not too long ago, so I think I'm good alone for now.

So, that sounds bad, but I am still smiling and happy for all that, life moves on and I'm still standing.
